No caso de título, sessão e inciso, que são escritos em algarismos romanos, e de capítulo - seja em algarismo romano ou arábico, como numa tese ou livro -, quando o numeral vem depois do substantivo faz-se a leitura em cardinal, como se houvesse a palavra ‘número’ entre eles: Título [nº] I (um), Sessão VIII (oito), inciso XII (doze), inciso III (três), Cap. IX (nove), capítulo [nº] 20 (vinte).
